BUGATTY'S BLISTERING BRILLIANCE

14 February 2014

KOLORA Lodge have found another exciting two-year-old.

The Michael, Wayne & John Hawkes trained Bugatty, which is part-owned by Kolora owner Michelle hasn’t been out of the first two in three Melbourne runs.

The Dreamscape colt showed he was destined for Group races with a strong win at Felmington in January.

Team Hawkes have such a big opinion of the colt he will run in the Group 1 $500,000 Lightning Stakes (1000m) at Flemington.

Having won down the straight Bugatty is a live chance with just 46kg on his back.

“You can count the number of horses as quick as him in our stable on one hand,’’ John said.

Kolora are excited to have Team Hawkes as clients on the property.

Real Surreal was bred, broken-in and pre-trained by Kolora Lodge. Michelle and Peter continue to race the horse with Michelle’s parents.

She will more than likely return to the racetrack in the Light Fingers Stakes.

We’re very excited about her autumn prospects in Sydney.
